Plus, I think he might actually like city and wants it to succeed (in his own neo-liberal, plutocratic template) He at least won't actively try to sabotage the inner city, have Don Cherry deliver the inaugural address, or foster local crime syndicates during his term. Any sensible person who wants to stick it to Tory by voting for Ford is, frankly, out of their mind.

he went missing in april but the missing persons notice wasn't broadcast until the day after we learned of the crack video.

What about that young woman that was found in the lake? She worked as an escort and IIRC she worked for Cachet or a related company. Somehow, I forgot about her, but maybe that's who was murdered.

Toronto Police say death of Elliot Lake woman pulled from lake still a mystery
Kasandra Bolduc’s petite body, wrapped in a garbage bag, was found at the foot of Yonge St. in Lake Ontario in May. But investigators are stumped.

Police publicly identified the body as Bolduc for the first time Friday. Her family had reported her missing to Niagara Region police Feb. 13. Toronto police began investigating in March.

Wasn't there an article where the sleaze bag who runs these places is quoted? I think he's a friend of Mammo's, I can't find it on line, but I'm sure he was quoted.

Hmm, that's interesting. Never heard of this. But you'd figure if there was a link we'd have heard about this guy in the police documents.

That's interesting too. I wasn't thinking of her either but I'm far from 100%.
 
CP24 actually cut away from Ford's presser pretty quickly. Nothing new here!

The winner quote for me so far is, "There is only one reason Eglinton is underground, and that is Mayor Rob Ford."

I like to think that somewhere in North Toronto Karen Stintz is sitting at home, amidst the detritus of her campaign, thinking..."Yeah, maybe I could have played that all differently..."
 
Wow, that presser was something else. It was like watching a kid who's parents did his homework for him try to fake his way through the class presentation.
