He wouldn't even consider taking a break if he was polling better and had more money behind him. Doug has finally figured out that Rob needs help, but only so he can win in the fall.

You know, him taking a leave to get help for substance abuse just exposes all his denials even more....as if they really needed to be for those with a thinking mind.

Wait, so the Toronto Sun says they have audio. Robyn Doolittle says the Globe has a video. Is it likely of the same event, or same recording?

Sounds like two different events. The Sun article is Ford being crude in a bar; here's an excerpt from the Globe:

A second video of Toronto Mayor Rob Ford smoking what has been described as crack-cocaine by a self-professed drug dealer was secretly filmed in his sister’s basement early Saturday morning. ... In one of the clips shown to The Globe and Mail on Wednesday, the mayor rapidly shifts his weight back and forth on the spot, talking into his cellphone and his right arm swinging at his side. When the camera pans around the room, a man that looks like Alessandro “Sandro” Lisi, the mayor’s former driver and an accused drug-dealing extortionist, can be seen in the background. The Sun claimed that the video they had was of Ford making predictable comments in a bar. It was meant to distract us from what the Globe had.
 
All seems a bit too...convenient. Especially if Joey Worms is in on it. Has a 'phoenix from the ashes' smell about it. Especially the sulphur.\

Edit: Wait...what?...WTF?...in the time since this post was laid down sh*t happened large-ish.
