Why don't you like Stintz. She is a Conservative. She's smart enough to get her agenda through City Hall, unlike Mayor Ford. And she is willing to invest in the future of this city, unlike Ford who is just cut cut cut.

How did getting OneCity through City Hall work out for her.

This kind of reminds me of how some people, men mostly, say slapping someone on the ass isn't sexual assault. No, its not the end of the world (and it has happened to me), but its still abuse, and to prevent people from thinking its OK, its incumbent on the police to deal with it appropriately.

I thought you were going with the common opinion that a woman can slap a man without ramifications, but if a man touches a woman, then it is assault. I guess you went with the anti male version instead.

I think I've heard anecdotes about Ford and hookers. Though it'd be more interesting if it were about Ford being on a bad date list, or something...

Logically that is how it should work but not with Toronto Police. Depending upon who the perpetrator is they can chose not to lay charges despite overwhelming evidence of an assault.

Can you link a real news report? I don't think anyone is going to take that channel seriously.

How did getting OneCity through City Hall work out for her.

OneCity IMO was a great group of suggestions to get people talking, and had a few interesting proposals. It's only problem is the partisan transit politics in council.

I do have a point, she tried something, more than most have, and she didn't throw a tantrum when it did not work out. That's more mature than SUBWAYS! SUBWAYS! SUBWAYS! and expecting any other level of government and businesses to pay for them.

Of course, even Stintz didn't expect OneCity to pass. I know she hasn't said that publicly, but she's not an idiot. I suspect hat OneCity had more to do with her future mayoral run than anything.

She knew full well that OneCity wasn't going to work out. Nobody did. It was a savvy political game. Expect it to reappear in her 2014 mayor campaign.

So on top of being a crass, bigoted, bellicose, belligerent, dishonest, ignorant, inarticulate, simpleminded, over-entitled, narcissistic, hypocritical, substance abusing, bullying, incompetent, half-witted fool, Rob Ford is also coward and a pussy who will press charges if you so much as look at him the wrong way. Good to know.

Funny, but up until the Rob Ford part you could have put in Smitherman's name.

As for laying charges.... if Rob Ford threw something at you, I bet you a lot of money that you would press charges. So don't be so quick to call others "hypocritical".
