NomoreaTorontonian - Yes, I remember the Honey Dew stand in the Ex, just south of the Dufferin Gates on the left side of the road. They served a jug of it (probably about a litre?) in an upside down cone-shaped waxed container that had a metal ring around the top, and a tab you had to remove (just like the old milk bottles) before pouring it into supplied little waxed cups. I can't remember if it had pulp or not? I don't remember the Red Hots at the Ex, but for sure in the basement of Simpsons. WOW! The good old 50's.

"Rather incredible that it still basically looks...the same."
QUOTE: adma.

It made me rather laugh that the upper pic of the building had not one roof leader, while the lower has four.

I'm always amazed by the extension of Toronto's waterfront.
The Toronto Harbour Commission Building is the key to appreciating this phenomenon.

Hi J T.

What is a roof leader? The only thing I can see is the eave trough down spouts - 4 on the modern day pic, and none in the original pic.

Plus, there is a brick chimney on the right side of the bottom pic.
