Dear Metronaut,
It has been a while since the our first two unconference events in Toronto and Hamilton, and we're really happy with how they turned out. We have been trying to schedule the next event, and are waiting to confirm a date when Metrolinx can send staff to participate.
A lot is happening right now and we are quickly coming to an important milestone: the publication of a draft Regional Transportation Plan by the end of July. This draft will be the subject of much discussion and debate and we think the Metronauts community is an important voice as the discussion continues through to the final document in the fall.
We would like to invite you to a gathering at the Centre for Social Innovation in Toronto next Thursday evening to talk about what the Metronauts community wants to do together in the coming months. How can we work together to contribute to a legacy of sustainable regional transportation in the future?
