What's green about Uber? Unless your driver shows up in an EV it's still two people per engine versus 10s of people per engine in a bus, 100s in a train, or in an electrically hauled streetcar, LRV, or subway...

Autonomous shuttles are effective for last-mile trips, especially in low-density areas where a bus is too much capacity and might create more pollution that it saves. It can't be for the whole trip, or that creates congestion and doesn't reduce pollution.

As part of Mx's GO Expansion program as well as routine maintenance, Mx regularly removes lots of trees/vegetation from its ROW or in the case of expansion, adjacent areas.
In a report headed to the Nov 5th Executive Ctte meeting of the TRCA we get a count on how many trees have been removed in recent years, and where replacement or 'compensation' plantings occurred, generally at a ratio of 5:1.
