Im up by ossington station and have totally been under seige. I also have the biggest spider living outside above my door now. They flies are fewer now though, i noticed them 6 days ago. Does anyone know if there is a faster way to get rid of them? I really want to kill that spider but i should probably let it live while its catching them... Its just so big and gross.

Its funny I should run into this thread. In the past few weeks I have noticed a huge increase in the number of fruitflies and flies I find on my screen patio doors in the mornings! Im out in Mississauga on the 17th floor. I didn't think these bugs could fly so high. I'm guessing this is a regular occurence at this time of the year in the GTA given that this thread was started in 2011?

I had them on my balcony Monday (especially) and Tuesday. Gone now.
But I have found a number of small houseflies between my blind and balcony door the past few mornings. I attribute that to the sudden warmth.

My 30something floor balcony is full of these things and bees right now...
