I can see my house... thanks for the update Steve.
I'd like to see all levels of government, the MPs and MPPs, Mayors & city councilors from Vaughan, Markham & North York standing at the corner pushing for acceleration of the Yonge extension. Until the transit/infrastructure is built these plans go nowhere.
How long could we realistically open the extension to Steeles?

The Yonge extension relies heavily on the downtown relief line (now Ontario line) being completed and in operation, as the Yonge extension is projected to push the line beyond its capacity. I’d expect to see this completed mid 2030s.

The introduction of ATC on Line 1 only marginally increased line capacity, not enough to support all the extra ridership from this 5+ station extension.
