Photo of FBI Pizza who are moving into the space where the "Public" cafe used to be:
Sofra Nazar grill at the NW corner of Dufferin & St. Clair has closed. But there is a sign on the window saying it's been leased now.
On a separate note, it's a shame that the Il Colosseo restaurant which was supposed to open last year one block west of Dufferin has backed out and cancelled its opening.

Not sure. I also haven't passed by that intersection in a while to check.
Meanwhile, the Big Slice at St. Clair W & Westmount will be moving a couple blocks west to the corner at St. Clair Gardens, essentially where the Il Colosseo restaurant would've been
A new craft brewery, True History Brewing, will be moving into the space where Big Slice is leaving.

Observation: Nothing says ' Corso Italia' like a row of retail whose 3 food shops are Osmows, McDs and Tim's. Sigh
Looking at this building, I always wonder if any of the original decor from when it was cinema is in tact.

Admittedly, I've only been inside this building a couple times for Big Slice Pizza when they were still around on the ground floor corner unit. I haven't been to the upstairs section before, although I am aware that it's used for a gym. I imagine that they've gone through quite a bit of renovations through the years. But it would be interesting to do a deep dive inside the building to see if there's at least any of the interior features from the theatre days still intact.

Something called Via 95 is opening on Greenlaw Ave, a couple blocks south of St. Clair. That retail unit was formerly a convenience store.
