A couple from the weekend from my new apartment. Not the best, just cell pics with zoom, so pretty fuzzy.

As far as manhole covers go, those are gorgeous. We can't get rid of telephone poles, so something that nice is a long ways off. If they could just make some dog/cat themed ones for this park - and maybe for use in/near other dog parks, that would be incredible.

My parents bought in 1971 and still own the house, it is worth approx. 60 times more than they bought it for. Not sure what that works out to but I'd guess it's higher than inflation. A lot higher. Granted these are also Toronto's greatest years for expansion, but it appears its been the norm...

Agreed on Vic Park to Birchmount - there's at least 7 condos being built now in this stretch. In 5-6 years when all of them are done (and more proposed) there should be enough people to keep Kingston road (east and west of VP) more vibrant and with better shopping/eating options. You can also...

I'd say it does. It's not a half, more like a sliver. But virtually everything south of Kingston Road in Scarborough is higher end housing.

Do they still do Woofstock in the St Lawrence market area? IIRC they moved it. They really need to bring it back and host it in this park. This thing looks so awesome I'm going to drive in from Scarborough just so my dog (OK, me) can see it in person once it's done........
