I wish they would provide a winter render with these projects that have a lot of green spaces integrated into the design. I always wonder how it will look in winter when the ivy is just branches and not as lush. Or, could they be using plants that would stay green during a Toronto winter...

i like the proportions this will add to the area. seems like a lot of spandrel though. hopefully the balcony treatments will mask it well.

This is great news! The Bathurst Quay waterfront renovation just keeps getting better and better. With Little Norway, the Music Garden and now this new park, there will be no shortage of nice waterfront parks in the area!! Kudos to all involved in making this happen. My only wish is it...

The balcony pattern is much more noticeable from a distance. This pic is giving me more hope this will turn out looking quite nice.

Was walking in Trillium park and noticed these new structures currently being worked on. They are bird feeders designed for barn swallows. Likely some other species may nest on top but the bottoms are set for barn swallows. no birds have set up yet as it’s still under construction but...

So does this mean they will be turning 668 King Street into a station too? I am happy they are keeping these heritage buildings but it does suck losing two structures that make for really nice retail/restaurant atmospheres. On the other hand, they will be cool subways stops :)
