    M1 + M2 + Metropolis + Parkside Condos (Liberty Development) - Real Estate -

Regarding your TV setup.. Bell has a new service called bell entertainment system.. it's not mainstream yet and is only in a few select condos.. but I had it in my previous condo and I loved it.. you might want to contact bell to see if it's available in your building...

smooth ceilings ! Are they worth it ?

Cityboy: I'm not sure what they do for a raw concrete ceiling.. I worked on one project where they just painted the concrete.. yes, just paint.. it looked like vomit. I can't imagine going with a concrete ceiling, even if smoothed out and sealed.. it looks cold and seems to suck the light...

Panorama Condos (Concord CityPlace) - Real Estate -

Unless you are on a floor with a drop (drywall) ceiling you cannot put potlights in most condos.. perhaps bulkheads, but not on concrete ceilings.

I agree dziogo.. I'd like to see it to.. it would make my dog walking much more interesting! However, I don't see that much volume on park lawn at the moment.. compared to many streets, it's actually quite dead.. but for sure once a bunch of new condos are constructed, that's going to change..

You may well be right interchange.. you seem well informed and probably know more than me. However I just can't get my head about the city paying to join the 2 legion roads (even with builder help) when there's a working road not a couple of hundred meters to the east (Park Lawn). This is no...

How to determine if wall mount is feasible or not? (condo)

I didn't recommend doing this because I don't know how comfortable he would be fiddling around with electrical plugs (even if switched off).. but you will not see any screws inside the box that show it's attached to a stud, they are not installed that way. The screws are entirely outside the...

How to determine if wall mount is feasible or not? (condo)

That certainly seems to be imbedded in concrete to me. Correct me if I'm wrong, but at the bottom of the box is that not packing tape I see? That box will have zero movement if you apply pressure to it.. unlike the one beneath your breakfast bar which will have a certain degree of flexiblity...

FYI, they have started the foundations for the crane. Expect to see that up in the not too distant future.

How to determine if wall mount is feasible or not? (condo)

Catapult: One thing I forgot, if you're looking at the cable outlet box, it's quite possible there's a 4x4 box there with a mud ring on it.. so what I said about the outside screw holes doesn't apply.. if that's the case then the best way to tell is on a power box.. but be careful if you check...

How to determine if wall mount is feasible or not? (condo)

Which part are you talking about, where you think there's a column? If the drywall is thin (1/2" or 5/8") then it's pretty much certainly going to be concrete. There are other ways to tell. Does the metal box appear to have masking tape around the outside (use to prevent concrete coming in)...
