Giving up money and credit cards is a pretty common tool in early recovery, especially for cocaine addiction. It makes it that much harder to go get drugs. For a lot of cocaine addicts, money is a serious trigger as people often get paid on friday then go use until they run out of money.

For someone that early in recovery it is a major accomplishment. This is why people in early recovery make such bad mayors.

I want him to get into the conflict of interest / breach of trust stuff. The wrong answers could hang him in later criminal proceedings.

More likely it's just Ford showing up late. Executive committee just finished, and I bet he was like "I'm the mayor, I'm at committee, they can wait! I'm doing mayor stuff!"

Maybe those interviews are why some outlets didn't want to rock the boat -- they wouldn't want to jeopardize their exclusive. Hopefully someone asks some real questions. Even if he storms out of the interview, that would be answer enough.

I'm kind of excited. The next little while should be a string of Ford defeats. First Rob tossed as mayor, then Doug destroyed in his quest to be premier. Hopefully Harper goes down soon after.
