Lewandowski exit suggests Trump realizes campaign has imploded. Question is whether Manafort can quickly rebuild, esp before convention.

The Trump "scampaign" tries to shed it's dumpster fire reputation--emergency fundraising email today: dig deep GOP rank-and-file, Ivanka needs a new pair of Louboutins (and a bigger suite at Trump Hotel New York).

Out of total 70 nation-wide Trump campaign staffers, 10% are paid Trump family members...

It also highlights a concern some Republican donors have stated about Trump -- that because his personal donations to his campaign are classified as loans, he could end up using campaign gifts from others to pay himself back.

As much of a financial genius as he is a political mastermind...

http://www.theatlantic.com/politics...ld-trump-brings-back-the-default-talk/488270/

In an appearance Wednesday morning on CBS This Morning, the presumptive Republican nominee returned to an idea he floated back in May: that if the U.S. economy “crashed,” he would offer to pay U.S. creditors less than what they are owed. “You go back and say, hey guess what, the economy just crashed. I’m going to give you back half,” he told Norah O’Donnell.

So many of the best people want to be Trump's VP, OK?

He also assured reporters that many qualified people were interested in the job, despite several prominent Republicans taking pains to note that they weren't interested.

"I will tell you one thing, I'm getting calls from a lot of people and they want it," Trump told CNN's Jim Acosta. "The only people who say they don't want it are the people that were never asked, OK."

It's that time again in the election campaign for the prove-your-heritage DNA tests...

http://www.salon.com/2016/06/27/tru...with_hillary_clinton_i_think_she_is_a_racist/

In a press call following Warren’s appearance on the campaign trail Monday, Trump surrogate and former Massachusetts senator Scott Brown, who lost his seat to Warren, suggested she take a DNA test to put Trump’s attacks on her heritage to rest.

Daniel Dale @ddale8
There was a huge abortion decision this morning. Trump hasn't said anything about it.

If he was trying to win over the evangelicals, he would have said something.

It never happened...

Trump announced a "total and complete" Muslim entry ban via formal statement. Ran on it for months. His campaign now says it never happened.

Even for politics, this is a remarkable level of dishonesty.
