Anyhoo, something felt underwhelming about this year's parade compared to last--maybe because there wasn't a Riefenstahl-scaled M.A.C. cosmetics float. (Closest thing to that might have been the CTV float--but that's the problem: it's CTV.)
Boy, I'd love if Tori Spelling was one of the paraders. And I'd love it even more if Mary Jo Eustace broke in and turned it into a parade-route-long catfight, hair-pulling, claws, screeching and all...

Saturday's Dyke March was the 11th annual. Although much smaller than Sunday's main Pride Parade, the Dyke March had a nice vibe. I think it gets better every year.

This year we wandered down along Park Rd. and Rosedale Valley Rd. which is where the floats line up for the parade (contingents without floats assemble on Bloor, east of Church. Above, the banana float representing Buddies in Bad Times Theatre
Definitely one of the cutest in the parade
Motorola had one of the nicest looking set of participants.
The labour contingent brings up the rear in this year's parade. The Steelworkers are always present, and this year marching along with them was Brandon Hughey (white shirt), one of the US war resisters.
