The TTC Board is holding a special meeting tomorrow, Wed. Aug. 28, 2024. The meeting will be held by video conference. The meeting will begin online at 3 p.m. and be streamed live on the Official TTC YouTube Channel.

This Special meeting of the Board will be held in closed session to consider the appointment of an Acting Chief Executive Officer.

And again: he would know that if he actually used the system. The disconnect is wild. They absolutely need to hire people in charge that actually use the system. That should be a qualification.
Nearly all the metrics are a lie, who cares if a bus leaves the terminal on time if everyone on it (or waiting for it) is 20 mins late halfway through the route?

I waited at pioneer villege for the 60, it skipped the station because it was behind and my bus that comes every 12 mins had a half hour gap!

I'm very unhappy with TTC's decision to reduce service on the 40 Dundas bus - it already had abysmal service levels (the part between Jane and Kipling). There is no North/South transit in the area of Prince Edward (to connect to Bloor), with new condos, townhouses, seniors homes, and many more units to come in this area, and virtually no alternative. So now, the option is to wait 30 minutes or walk 15 to get to Royal York to maybe wait another 10 for a bus. Maybe they should reroute 55 and have it return to the subway via Dundas/Prince Edward, instead of doubling up on Jane (which already has its own service).
