Anyone know anything about Eve Wiggins who worked for TTC as a manager as she is the GM of Mississauga Transit now??
I don't recalled dealing with her on any TTC projects.

I don't know when she worked at the TTC, but for the past 4 years at least she was quite high up at GO, ending up as the head of the bus operations.

And if you looked there you'd see 4 pages of comments since @SaugeenJunction broke the news:
Sheppard Line 4 Subway Extension (Proposed)
Even if the province pays, you know there's still only one taxpayer. And the province spending money on one silly transit project means better ones don't get funded, at all or as soon. Not commenting on the merits of the Sheppard extension per se. Line 5 definitely is an example.

Rumors are circling that Rick Leary is out and Adam Giambrone may be coming to town.
Unsubstantiated as it is, there is a Special Board Meeting today as reported by the Toronto Sun here:

Given the meeting was just called today and the agenda is confidential (as per the TTC website) there may not be too much to go on. Hence why it is a rumor.

I miss the "On The Rocket", back when Councillor Adam Giambrone was the TTC Chair, around 2009. Wonder if they could use the internet to send out a new version? If they could get the WiFi to work on the streetcars first. Imagine podcasts by TTC Chair Jamaal Myers, or (who ever follows) TTC...
Edit to add; it is my understanding that AG's Saudi contract was set to expire in the next few days.
