Not a bad Conservative off-ramp for the brewing PR disaster at Ontario Place- there certainly is plenty of space to fit these sorts of buildings, and synergistic potential with the other adjacent potential entertainment venues (though they would need to be bumped up in terms of their timelines).
Hah, yea, at least it's got those eye searing casino carpets... Still, the whole thing feels underwhelming for a purported billion dollar destination.
I'm sure it's discussed somewhere else in the forum, but I can't find it. How will people get from the GO station to the resort? It's a real hike!
Haven't been following this thread, so, a little late with a reply. Being an occasional gambler and having visited Las Vegas during the 80s and 90s, it would've been fantastic if they had incorporated those neon signs of that era. It would've been amazing to see something like the Stardust, Flamingo, The Dunes and many other of those old casino's signs festooning the exterior here. If they had done that, it might've in itself been a tourist draw for those old time nostalgic gamblers of yesteryear!
