The tenant is fitting of the whole technology, innovation branding industrial complex the developer was going after.

The entire concept of tech and innovation as it’s popularly understood today is a product of a finely crafted advertising, marketing, and public relations campaign.

Wow, this project has gone so "Toronto". A promising design refined and redesigned into something completely unfit for the location.

I recall the goal with Queens Quay was to create one of the world's great streets. It's incredibly difficult to do that with awful architecture.

I've always wished I could enjoy a Markham office park when I visit the waterfront. Dreams really do come true! :p

Agree with you but they probably don't think it's awful. You could take solace in that Toronto usually builds things 2-3 times before it ends up with something nice. So in 2050 or 2080/ 2-3 re-developments later we might get the 'one of the world's great streets' that was promised. We'll be retired or dead by then of course.

Queen's Quay West just went through a massive overhaul. The southside sidewalk is fine but the rest is a chaotic mess. There's way too much going on on that road. Lets just be thankful that this end of Queen's Quay is at least relaxing.... for now.
