Not calling anyone here a liar, but I'm as well having a hard believing the new concourse will be opening in a couple weeks.

Seems like there is still so much work to do.

It's probably a bit behind. I'm guessing it will probably be around December instead.

At the beginning of the year they were projecting October/November. I haven't heard an update since then.

If this is related to the part in the York St underpass where they are gradually uncovering the windows, there is a lot of cleanup to do.

Have there been any hardhat tours of the York concourse? I wonder if they're going to open it unfinished like they did the new TTC Union concourse. I'm also curious how transfers to the TTC will work, since the lower concourse clearly won't be functional (can't be, since it would be lower than the existing moat and they can't excavate the west end of the moat until the east end is reopened)

I would imagine it would be largely complete when the open it. The TTC concourse had to be opened incomplete because the former concourse area needed to be ripped out in order to accommodate construction of the 2nd platform. They didn't really have a choice, because the subway needed a connection between it and Union.

With GO on the other hand, they have a perfectly usable concourse space that has been more or less unaffected by construction to date. They've done a very good job of minimizing the visual aspects of construction thus far, so I don't see why they would suddenly throw thousands of passengers into what would still be largely a construction site if they've gone to such great lengths to avoid that to this point.

I presume tranfers will be very awkward for a while and very "clogged up" as they would have to walk through the passage under the great hall entrance.

They have started to put in the rebar for the concourse floor. the stairs on the far eastern side of Union facing Bay were poured last week.
