One of the new digital signs above the VIA ticket counters in the great hall was up and running today. Showed the 3 next VIA departures. Looked pretty basic but I guess that's the point.

Those are windows, not doors, in your picture from inside the Bay Concourse. They'll be windows that you can look into from the elevated gangway through the east moat.

There are also glass canopies coming along York and Bay, aren't there? I seem to remember similar ground preparation before they started installing the first moat cover. Maybe they're getting ready to start along York, now that it looks like they're about to regain some space/accesses in the Front moats?

FYI the previous variant of this project (by Union Pearson Group) predate the first post by a few years - and the selection process was rife with accusations of favouritism and backroom dealings and the whole scheme was scrapped completely.
