Do we know how much of the lower concourse will open at the same time? I thought I'd read initially that that area wouldn't open until they had a clear passage through to the lower Bay Concourse
I might be wrong, but does the Food Court level have a path to the Bay Moat? If not, then it wouldn’t be that big of a deal since the escalators down are just outside of the York Concourse.I think the "Centre Retail" area could open up and provide an additional path through the station from the subway to points south (ACC, Southcore, etc), provided the access point near the starbucks in Telus tower opens up as well.
Unfortunately, that's probably the case.Do we have to wait for the Bay Concourse to open before we get our Cinnabon back?!
The Danish Pastry House is a pretty good alternative. Besides, Cinnabon never confirmed they are coming back to Union.Do we have to wait for the Bay Concourse to open before we get our Cinnabon back?!
I would not mention Danish Pastry House in same sentence as Cinnabon! The DPH has wonderful and tasty baked goods, CB has "sugar".The Danish Pastry House is a pretty good alternative. Besides, Cinnabon never confirmed they are coming back to Union.

Not really. https://www.livestrong.com/article/559453-whats-really-inside-that-cinnabon-classic-cinnamon-roll/ And to make it even more fun: https://www.cinnabon.com/-/media/cinnabon/nutrition/CinnabonNutritionalGuide.pdfAnd butter. A lot of butter.
Well, it would kind of be a shortcut to go from the York Promenade to the York Concourse Ticket Area. Now here's the thing about lower York concourse: even if the main area is 'finished', would they bother opening it up before there are restaurants/stores open? Just seems to be a tourist trap/UT attraction if there's nothing down there.
I don't care what the ingredients are; I just want a downtown Cinnabon again. Had to go all the way to Eglinton Station to get a 15 pack the other day.No butter; that's palm oil and vegetable oil. They use a little bit of cream cultures (essentially scrapings from the vat) for the dairy flavour.
