Some insider on the executive level of a major builder told me that generally good looking building cost 30% more. Money wise, almost no builder wants to spend that kind of money and it barely helps the sales.

Yeah, this is a total red herring (largely in the abstract and certainly specific to this one). A simple box with a low window-to-wall ratio and some simple precast materials is just not 30% more expensive than this POS.

I’m loving the this building more everyday. I passed by the construction site last week and the building is turning out to be better than I had even imagined.

This is perfect for the area and just what the neighbourhood needs. The balance between aluminum cladding, spandrel, and glazing is very artistically attractive in my opinion. The massing is also just right on the mark of downtown dense, but not too dense.

Looks like they're starting on Floor 27 of 29. i don't think they'll have any problems topping off the north towers before the snow flies...whether that makes the regulars here happy or not,

I walked by yesterday at around 4pm, and although it was quite sunny, the courtyard was very dark. I think it would've been better if the courtyard faces West, or maybe even East.

Thanks, @Electrixsun. I am guessing the building in the left forefront is located between Lower Jarvis St. and Market St, and you took the picture from southwest of Time & Space. I am curious though where you were when you snapped the photograph.

Looks like it was taken at Polson Pier. I was down there too yesterday so I can confirm.
