Toronto has the weirdest -- often grotesque -- public art around, and this 20-year boom has added so many great new examples.
 
Yeah, it was not a criticism from me! I was just surprised that no one was talking about it even though it was clearly bananas.

I'm more in favour of odd-looking art generating feelings in passerby than of some broken abstract shape symbolizing nothing.
I like it because it uses a lot of fantasy/surreal elements...so it's right up my alley. I suspect that because it's all painted/galvanized in silver is what's throwing some here.
