The horizontal rebar grid seems in place, looks like they are finishing up on the vertical ties.

Edit: On a closer look one guy is definitely waist deep in the grid so I suspect a few more top level horizontals.

There was quite a large meeting of construction workers standing out front this morning. Possibly a big day today?

Was supposed to be the first of two transfer slab pours today, the other being later this week.

Haven't heard anything as yet about that being under way.

that is going to be a godamn MONSTER pour... it's like a swimming pool worth of concrete. they will pour the center core and the beam slabs, then do the rest of the floor later this week i guess.

Toronto has a weird aversion to bollards (probably too anti-car for our city) but some perimeter bollards would be especially useful here.

We *love*Jersey barriers though! *ducks* Anyways, putting bollards in would be a little too obvious. Proper landscaping could do the job.

Or park while they make Uber Eats deliveries to residents of the new building? Bollards are not workable.
If we had bollards, how would pedestrians know that sidewalks are actually just bonus space for cars, and not actually for people trying to walk? Truly horrifying!
