There is no need for this type of glass at other floors in any case - none of the floors are triple height.

That’s the pit for the firefighters elevator that starts on the fifth floor. The other elevators in the core will start on the sixth floor.
Edit to add/correct: There are three hotel elevators that start on the 5th floor, but are just east of the central core (the pits are also being formed currently)

Optical illusion, it's actually two beams at 90 degree angles to one another.

That glass looks incredible. I still can't believe they got 11m tall panels rather than just getting multiple smaller panels.
