The G&M Centre is going up very fast now, advancing about a floor every 8 to 10 days. Currently at the 7th floor at King Street, and 6th floor at Front Street. The building is now about a third of the way to the top (17 storeys + mechanical penthouse). At this pace, I anticipate the building will be topped off by early October.

Not a lot of privacy for the rooftop terrace of the owners of the heritage building. Mind you, I've never seen them ever use their terrace..

I spent sometime today watching it being constructed. I was thinking how much the area has changed in the last ten years. The Distillery, Canary, the various condos all around the neighbourhood etc. Even the No Frills, LCBO, Dollarama and the various banks in the expanded 333 King complex have made a major difference to the density and vibrancy of the neighbourhood. Looking forward to this opening as well. Keep the pictures coming Razz.
