Yeah, I'm with KingEast on the quietness down there. But I do agree that it's better than it was 10 years ago, as it was a bit sketchy and desolate then. The condos coming up in the last ten years have helped with that.

As for the Staples and the Porsche dealership, I agree, but what I really want to see is some fantastic development on the s/w corner of King and Parliament, all the way down the the park across from Mill St. That's the real eyesore here, I think.

I seem to recall talk of some action there on here a while back.
 
As someone who lives in the area, its quietness was one of the things that attracted me to it. That said, I can't wait to see the parking lots and suburb style Staples and car dealerships redeveloped, if it brings more people and noise, so be it!
