I know Sutton Place wasn't a standout to the general public but I do think this loss will eventually be regretted.

I really liked it. It reminded me of mid-century modernist Manhattan and we certainly didn't have many of those.

I appreciate that the entire structure isn't being demolished. Sort of like part of the history of the place will still be there... sort of. I like the trend of recycling buildings as is happening on University Ave too.

Strange to see this thing being denuded. My high school graduation party happened on the top floor of this building... although I'm not sure why, since the high school itself was located in Mississauga. I guess it was still a destination place in the later 70s.

Glad to see it being given new life. I don't think the majority of Torontonians will lament the loss of its original looks.

I'm pretty disappointed by its desecration. I mean, I really don't know if there's any other word for what's happening here. I've really grown to appreciate modernist and brutalist architecture over the years on this site but I still get why people don't care as much to protect these buildings. That said, it really is unfortunate to see how easily we allow them to lose any kind of unique feature or their original architectural design. I appreciate precast doesn't last forever and glass is the big thing but damn, I really wish we'd save a few of these buildings...
