I'm very pleased that this is more than a one-dimensional facade and that the modern portion of the building steps back a little to reveal the sides of the heritage facade. This will look right at home with a little ivy.
Glass cladding is starting to go up on the first setback floor (5?). Not impresses so far but it is early. I'm thinking brick all the way up would have been better.
The spandrel disaster coming? Massing is awful and looms over the historic strip the wrong way. Yes the old brick is nice but the new addition ignores it. Blah.
