Actually, the rendering I believe shows the same glass, it's just an illusion that there is a difference because of the frame colour. I am still waiting to see some brickwork exposed - that will hopefully be a great day!

I think you're right! Good eye. I think they are on the 4th floor for the heritage brick work so we might see an unveiling before Feb., hopefully I bet they want to use the scaffolding for the next section of the East side.

That's just a teaser and a boring plain wall - we need to see the brick with the windows to get a real sense of it.

A few weeks back, I saw the actual brick. The plastic sheets had come away in the wind. The bricks were red with black and they looked great. I'm downtown every couple of weeks but usually there is so little change. I'm bursting at the seams to see this completed. I hate the delay, but I'm getting my monies worth in anticipation.

I passed by today and there was a big truck with all the bricks being loaded up the construction elevator onto the different floors. Attached a picture of the bricks!

Rats! That's a Brampton Brick and not those fancy heritage ones from across the pond. I surmise then that the heritage building portion is using some reclaimed brick mixed in with the UK ones, while the new portions of the building are using the BB's with the modern dimensions. I don't like that as much!

LEED SCHMEED when it comes to the bricks! Let's hope the BBs come out complimentary to the heritage ones. I would have argued for LEEDs points to use all heritage brick considering the neighbouring properties - that overcomes the "local" and distance issue in my mind (I know it doesn't work that way).

The ones from the UK are not reclaimed bricks, and are new, just manufactured to the older dimensions to answer the other post as well.
