Agreed. I know this will sound crazy, but how great would it have been to have one of the colours be the cotton candy pink that was used in the marketing? Would be a showstopper. (Though might have to change the other colours to make it work - maybe white, pink, and navy blue.)

I guess colours are considered to be too polarizing by the TPTB. Not everyone loves hot pink, lime green or even mellow yellow. But good old neutral grey/white/black?--now those are some non-colours that everyone can get behind and say "meh".

However, I am not so sure that skyline will look so interesting once as all the waterfront towers are in, and basically as far as anyone can tell north of the Gardiner, will be that a wall of condos exists, and no water.

I am surprised at how tall some of the towers by the waterfront are allowed to be. Even Daniel's west tower being ~45 stories is too tall IMHO. It really does become an unwelcoming wall to the waterfront - again IMHO.

The plan is that buildings on the south side of QQE will be mid-rise while those further north can be higher.

The whole waterfront should have been planned like the south side of QQE. Instead we end up with this mediocre/bland wall of condos.

Mburrrrr good catch - it is a rough (unfinished) block massing of the 'London On the Esplanade Condos' (30 The Esplanade), however it should be beige. Thank you!

That sure looks like a version of 45 The Esplanade to me as the two towers are for London on the Esplanade from your original post on August 19. 45 The Esplanade SPA was released late December.
