I took a flight around in a small plane last weekend, didn't get a chance to post the pictures until now.

Sorry about the quality, it was through a window and I was trying not to vomit (because I was facing backwards).

I have the higher quality ones, I just shrunk these down (by a lot) to post here.

Without the trees, the city is not particularly beautiful at this time of year.

The ravines are still beautiful at this time of year (thanks to Eastern Hemlocks, pines; and even bare deciduous trees).

No you are not. We are quickly becoming (or have already become) a Global City. We are becoming something that even cities with much larger population, history/culture, political importance are to be envious of.

And while most Toronto residents refuse to believe that we are becoming that internationally relevant, the global elite is busy buying into our property market.

dont kid yourself... every major city is being bought up hand over fist by foreign "investors". most of it is money laundering / tax evasion schemes. illegal real estate sales are a major problem in Vancouver and LA. I'm actually surprised we havent heard similar stories in Toronto yet, above and beyond speculators.

Hi everyone! I'm new to Urban Toronto after browsing the website as a guest for almost a year now. I've taken inspiration from this article (http://www.upside-down.ca/cherry-oxford.jpg) and created my own version of Toronto's skyline by 2025 (or so..I'm no expert). Hope you guys like it.

^ Most excellent. I believe the island airport just won an award for one of the most scenic take offs.
I was in Vegas a few weeks ago and the take off from the airport at night there was also incredible! Would've taken some video but I wasn't in the window seat
