If Daniels is negligent how big could the fine be?
Why would the developer be deemed negligible? This is a construction-related issue, and there's still not enough information to assume anyone involved in the project is to blame. Especially if it's being reported that "bolts were missing" that could indicate outside interference. Let's not make assumptions until we have the details

Agreed, interesting CP24 were reporting it so soon

"The cause of the collapse is under investigation but based on preliminary reports Sell said construction crews noticed missing bolts on the crane before it went into operation this morning."

That would of been really bad if that came down on a crowd. Glad no one was hurt.

Who is the construction company handling this build for Daniels?

Curious how's they'll remove this today. If anyone has pictures of the removal pleas post them. I assume they'll cut the wreckage into pieces before hauling it away? Hopefully they'll use thermal lances.

I don't know if they edited their story.............but this turn-of-phrase has changed.....from missing to broken off

The cause of the collapse is under investigation but based on preliminary reports, Sell said construction crews noticed that some bolts that were holding a turntable down to the structure had broken off before it went into operation this morning.
