I'm liking this so far too. I haven't seen this in person since late August/early September but from the photographs I like how the midrise and highrise use a similar tone of cladding to fit in with the original Tip Top.
^Thanks for the photos. This building is one of my favourites, but makes me sad--Imagine if all the crappy area condos (WHC, WPC, Malibu) had been designed rather than sold out to the marketing department?
The building will look great when it's completed. I am very happy with the way it shows and excited to see it after the glass is wrapped around the tower as well....
I take back what I said last year about assuming this building would regrettably overwhelm the historic Tip Top Lofts. It's magnificent and compliments the old building superbly.
