Saturday, January 13. Another work day at the Portland Commons site, with a small crew in today. If I recall correctly, Ellis Don has been targeting Substantial Completion for March 2024 - at this rate looks good, if not March, it should not be much later. Photos are from Friday, January 12. Cladding of the support columns along the Front Street frontage is underway.

January 26: Tower crane to come down this weekend - preparations now underway. The mobile crane arrived this morning and currently being assembled.

Glazing and cladding of the Portland Commons building is virtually complete with the exception of some ground floor areas along Portland and Front Streets and the sections where the external construction hoist is located.

First, and overview of the building, and then some detail photos of the mobile crane components arriving and being set up.

More crane removal preparation activities - including a number of workers out on the boom removing the cable, and setting up for its disassembly. Not a job I would want. Meanwhile at ground level, assembly of the mobile crane for tomorrow's hoisting activities appears to be complete.

Still without a lease...

Note a single lease ? Or anything subsational you mean ?
This build offers vary wide floor plates so I think that would be attractive to some tenants. But of course it's not in the "core" per se - probably need to consider lowering asking rents.
