Let's hope that this and B. street's style becomes the default for new condos in Toronto. I hope that developers make so many copies of this that we get sick of it - as we've gotten sick of the glazing + wacky balcony style.

Maybe different colours though. Brown and pink? White and green? I'd love to read comments on 2010's Urbantoronto where people are complaining that "EVERY new building is white and green! Toronto is soooo dull!"

Love the building, but as others have mentioned I find it surprising they'd take a chance with these balconies on the podium being so cavernous.

I'm inclined to agree, but I was more referring to how they'll look from the inside out. It'll be like living in a peephole.

The view isn't that bad with the balcony cladding in place, and when the interior side gets its panels it should be even better.

I actually like this better than your typical glass balcony. My fear of heights is magnified by skimpy looking glass railings. This would help.

Yikes. No way. That'd be an instant deal breaker for me. To each their own.

This would be perfect for me. I"m not really a fan of wind-swept balconies. This feels like an outdoor room.

I agree wholeheartedly, but I also have a fear of heights so maybe there is a link in that.
