I think it might be a good idea to keep the school off the island. I think with three ways off Minising and a gazillion tall buildings planned (to single handedly solve the housing crisis) traffic colliding on lake shore is going to be insane. Whatever they can do to put school pick ups and drop offs on mainland, the better.

Any government keep track of that kind of data? City schools with the most driven students (cars, not studiousness)

You know, I do love that Google finally updated their map of the island and park but... you know... maybe they should have updated the name of the island as well? It still says Villiers Island.

I think you mean the "Gulf of Canada," right? I wrote that on my globe, so it's official as far as I am concerned.

Had a wonderful day at the park with a herd of 6 year olds. It's fun to go on the weekend with just your family, but having the whole playground to yourself and your group of friends is way more fun. The kids basically cried when we told them we had to leave.

Then the TTC failed us. We waited for 30 minutes for a bus that's supposed to come every 7-8 minutes.

The interlocking is done around the firehouse but it's not open yet.

At the rate the scaffolding is coming down on the crane, I'd say it will all be removed by the holiday weekend
