Is it too much to ask the PR flacks to convert all their measurements to the same system of measurement? And since I did the math, 48" is approximately 1220 cm.
Some of us don't really think about it...we just go back and forth between the two. I agree that the writer was lazy but, since it's so upsetting...I did the math...6.5 meters is around 21 feet.

Made a visit to the new/shifted Eastbound platform today.

Starting with the now blocked off West end of the platform, next to the entrance from the Ex/ped tunnel.

You can see the newly installed hoarding around the portal site, which will begin piling work later this month.

They've finally started to install the top and bottom of the cladding for the ped bridge staircases.
