Toronto Ontario Line: Don Valley Station (was Science Centre Station) | 22.8m | 3s | Metrolinx | HDR

Sorry @A 6264 ... Meant to quote this in the response above, not your post.
It's okay, I knew what you meant. And as I've said elsewhere, there are no bus shelters or a place to sit down where the big stone used to be, therefore that can't be the same place.

Take today, November 25th, 2025

I don't know if it is just me, but I feel like the OL project is moving ahead faster than most rapid transit projects we have seen built in this city. Massive construction over the entire length of the line.
Can't have the most high profile and visible transit project in the city turn into another crosstown debacle.

another crosstown debacle
Speak of t̶h̶e̶ ̶d̶e̶v̶i̶l̶ Metrolinx incompetence and it doth appear:
Ok......with all of the great progress shots, from multiple contributors, but special shout out to @kotsy ......it may seem hard to believe.................

But I have now had some information corroborated by multiple sources.

It appears the O/L will be the latest Mx project to miss its opening date.

The number that I was given, which I don't feel it appropriate to share at this time, is astoundingly bad. While I couldn't verify the precise number, multiple sources agreed Mx will miss its targeted opening of Fall 2031.

Also agreed, was that it won't be particularly close.

Whereas the date in question remains, literally, six years away, i assume Mx has some room to expedite things should the political impetus and budget for that be made to occur.

But in general, delays compound over time, and rarely end up being caught up on.

File under, concern warranted.

I myself don't expect the Ontario line to be open until 2034-2035. Barring the possibility of extra money thrown in to speed up construction like the Gardiner, 2035 is looking more and more likely.

In spring 2024, all but 1 of the bus routes on Pape north of Pape Station were diverted to Broadview Station, to reduce traffic on Pape for work on the OL line. At that time, it was announced routes would return to Pape before the end of 2024. In late 2024, they changed completion date to end of 2025. Now it's the end of 2025, and there have been no annoucements about when work will be completed. The TTC's pages on those bus routes are still describing their rerouting to Broadview as temporary. Going by what we're seeing, I doubt work on Pape will be finished any earlier than late 2026, even though there is a lot of activity going on. I take all that as an indication that work is 2 years late compared to what was expected in early 2024. Official completion date for the whole line remains at its original prediction of 2030, but it's only a matter of time before it gets pushed forward by a few years.

Sorry, I know, I've posted this before.
