Toronto One Bloor East | 257.24m | 76s | Great Gulf | Hariri Pontarini

I think it meant briefing and interview with the construction and sales team will follow. It would be silly for Great Gulf / Baker to start sales without a few days of media exposure first.

I'm just going by what I read...

WYLIE ... heads up, seems like this agent is using your SketchUp renderings of the new One Bloor on his website ... if he does not have your consent, you should do something about it ~

He also has aqua in there hahaha which btw looks horrible in his youtube vid. Wonder if it was not finished...looks like the cloverfield monster backed up in to it or something.

I agree. My money is on a lottery system accompanied by a potential deposit to be in the lottery.

The 1BE site is all ready for their opening and it looks like blue is the colour of choice. All the signage has a blue cast, including the back of the billboards and they just installed blue trees in blue planters at the front entrance of the tent.

Don't you forfeit all rights to the materials when using Google sketchup?

Thanks for the heads-up, Solaris. One thing's for sure... he's not allowed to put that ugly watermark on the renderings! What do you think I should do about it?

Since it's already established that my rendering doesn't really represent the building, maybe what I should write is a disclaimer to make sure I'm not responsible if his clients complain that the rendering doesn't match the real thing. I actually don't care much about the credit anyway... it's a quick rendering that I actually find to be a bit ugly myself.

Even if you don't want credit, I'd tell him to remove it or provide compensation. If he refuses, take legal action. You shouldn't allow him to steal your work for his own commercial gain.

The Star has an article and a bunch of new renderings up:

I was a little ambivalent based on the previous rendering, but now that I've seen the podium and roof element I like it much more. I like how the podium terraces cascade away like a shoreline. It's something other than a box, it meets the street well, and if it's executed correctly it could be pretty special
