Well, that's a stunner.

any word on when they are going to clad the portion of the base facing the tracks? it has been sitting there for months and months. are they running into problems with construction staging or something?

I was told that Context is waiting for Metrolinx to level the land to clad the base. To be completed at the latest, end of November.

Here's a few pics I have taken since late 2009.

I have more photos that I will have to resize in order for the site to allow me to upload the rest of the pics from my Canon T3i.

I would love to become a more regular contributor to Urban Toronto. I still remember saving what little allowance money I could to photograph the Spadina streetcar back when it was being done in the mid 1990s as well as the SRT and final run of the A-15 PCCs around 1995. Now I can take all the pics I want with my new DSLR and snap away pics til I drop, lol. All I need now is a nice battery grip, decent tripod, a big flash and a nice 18-200 mm lens with a nice shade and next thing u know I'll be yet another urban affairs paparrazi nerd dodging angry transit workers by such a person who would dare take a photo of a streetcar (lol). : )

Great photos, and I have many of those items for sale second hand if you are interested. I upgraded from a t3i to a 5dmkii so a lot of my older gear is up for grabs!
