more white buildings please

I'd be happier with "Less of the same". Variety is what we need, more colours and new shades please!

Edit: Don't take this as a complaint. I absolutely love these buildings. This was more of a blanket statement. I'd take well designed good material monotony over value engineered grey spandrel monotony any day.

Agreed ^ while these look great, having three buildings in a row all with the same material finishes is quite monotonous, not to mention that block 7 will use the same brick as here. Some variety would go a really long way to adding diversity and that “fine grained” feel we all want to see more of.

We could just land on maybe not all the white buildings in the same spot...and like, looking for truly white, not an off-white grey, in case developers are listening.
I like and agree the need for a variety of colours are important, and maybe equally a variety of textures? Not everything must be glass?
These look great to me, even if they are bunched together.

This morning’s walkabout.

The plot thickens…presumably considerable ground level work ahead… a sea of Silva (counted 14 X 9 rows) plus curvaceous concrete. Had to Google the name and voila…Ed’s (Stratford-based).

Somewhat curved concrete seen here but perhaps somewhat different shape-wise than above frames.

Liking the variety of white shapes seen on an angle.
