What retail is intended for this space? Grocery is sorely needed

4200 sqft would be very tiny for a grocery store. Even small Urban Market type shops are usually 12,000sqft or larger.

A small Rabba would fit though they target 6000 sqft for new locations (considered the ideal size).

A grocery Store will be in the Canary Commens building on Front St.

Canary Landing rental towers on Block 8 of the West Don Lands as seen from Gooderham condo, Distillery District this afternoon. A lot going on in the wide shot. To the left are cranes of the future Indigenous Hub and Canary House condo. GBC residences can be seen above the original Canary Restaurant and Hotel. To the right in the distance is the former Unilever factory and future site of East Harbour. Above the Distillery streetcar loop is the proposed block 20 development site. Other shots show details of, and tower cranes lifting scalloped precast frames onto Canary Landing towers.

a building that looks exactly like (if not better than) the renderings.......what a concept! i kind of wish they were taller :) i hope that 125R Mill (Block 20) construction starts soon, so the public spaces in this block can be realized soon than later. does anyone know when Block 20 construction will start??
