I was going by the site along King and saw what appears to be an application for a variance posted. I was nowhere close enough to read any details. Has anyone else noted this?

From the north side of King St W. Rebar is just starting to poke above the hoarding. The Ritz is also starting to poke up:

We still want to know the back story behind TAS no longer leading this project. Insiders......time to talk. We are not letting this one go.

I believe this is the agenda for the Oct 7 committee of adjustment re the variance application.

See Item #8. Apart from minor parking changes, looks like the number of units has gone up from 291 to 308.

Not sure of the final decision, though.

Some of the well established developers are also experiencing financing woes as profits drop, lending requirements change and banks manage thier risk differently. Builder financing continues to be a major issue within the industry for virtually all players big and small.

Does anyone know if this project includes streetfront retail and if so, does it look to contain one single large space?

If you go to the website and click 'videos' then play the video of the M5V Exterior, it shows the building's frontage. I have no idea how accurate it is however.
