Instead of the classic view from the Islands, where the CN tower is on the left side of FCP.

i know what he meant, but i was just confused as to why it was weird.... the view from the west has gotten more popular (in terms of photographs), than the view from the north/south view. nonetheless, i think the west view looks nicer :) (only because of four seasons now :D)
 
Yup, coming down Avenue Road south of UCC it is clearly in evidence in the distance.

I'm going to miss that craaaaazy pink band when it's gone.
 
Riding on the St Clair streetcar today, I could see Shangri-La as we drove through the intersection at Avenue.

I was also on the St. Clair streetcar today going west at about 3:45pm, didn't think to glance down Avenue Road as we passed though :(
