Toronto L-Tower | 204.82m | 58s | Cityzen | Daniel Libeskind

looking good ^^^ the arch looks great against the unnofficial flatiron building.
what's the height on this thing so far?.. 50m?

i counted 16 floors in the photo, iirc, plans call for 205m and the building will be 58s so (205/58)x16 = 56.55 so if im counting floors right its roughy 56.5 meters...50 was a pretty good guess. lookin like about 3 and a half meters per floor unless im worse at math then i thought

... and some fantastic work Udo - you just need to add some sexy music to your videos!

Alright ... this time with music (Moby - "Hymn" - 1995) and some additional footage:

Has this variance been posted before? I looked back at some threads and couldn't find anything. If so, my apologies.

I Noticed today that the window frames are gone from the test area, but the steel support is still there.

I really like this video but at the 56 sec mark, it looks like L Tower is the same height at the TD Canada Trust Tower (which is 268 ft) while the L Tower is supposed to be 205 feet tall.

... as seen through Cityzen, Fernbrook, Castlepoint Sales office window on The Esplanade

yes sorry my bad. note to self - never look at condo porn at 2am. yes, the L Tower is supposed to be 205 metres tall and yet in the video, which is a beautiful rendition, the L Tower looks as tall as the TD Canada Trust Tower which is 265 metres tall. don't know why they made them look the same height or maybe it's just the angle.

loving all the pictures today. L Tower is growing nicely.

I believe you mean meters?

I got my first view from the south on the Go Train today, this building sure hugs the Sony Centre.
Like many I was disappointed with the loss of the boot on Yonge for the longest time but I've thought a lot about it lately and now that we see the tower's position I'm glad the boot never made it, I think that it would have taken far too much away from the west side of the Sony Centre.

I was also upset over the loss of the boot just because it was such a unique structure and so many condos have no interesting bases nowadays. but I've come around too and am okay with it being gone because the design without now now looks more elegant and no one can say to residents that they live in a big shoe!
