Glad to see Allied has carried on with implementing these features on this building. They did the same with QRC West, and last I heard the stilts may be a feature on the future extension of that project.
The floors are a great idea, I have not come across these before, we do a lot of condos so i wouldn't expect to. This building has a lot of unique features inside and out, from what i can see. Those glass panels are huge, i wish they had one or two left over, i bet i could find something to do with them. The glass contract must be huge on this building, and rightfully so, it's not just good from far away, the details/connections and water and air seal are 10x what you would see on a condo these days. Im proud to work on this place.
Yes there are curved louvers going around at that level, I have never seen those before should look great!
Wow that’s freaky, they looked like they were in place, so probably bolted, especially knowing that wind was coming. I don’t walk around in the city on days like that.
