That whole concrete wall is to be covered in spandrel. The 9th floor is mechanical space and the bike locker rooms - why would you want to put a glazed wall there?

Think my post is quite clear that I'm not suggesting a vision wall there. The point too is you have a whole column of vision glass on the Sheppard Street side and than smack dab in the middle in a solid row of spandrel window wall and of a completely different colour. I don't think it's unreasonable to call this laziness or that there aren't alternatives to the standard window wall effect either.

Rising above the square. Sorry if this hurts your head :p

I notice this am that they have installed some dark contrasting panels on the left above the wharf, and that the first level of the windows running up between the balconies has been installed.

The dark glass is really appealing, still think this is a pretty weird place to have a condo.

From yesterday, a few more angles:

The dark glass is really appealing, still think this is a pretty weird place to have a condo.

Breaking up the monotony of office buildings in the Financial District is good, though I'd still like to see the district maintain its character as the city's CBD. As much as I love the city's Victorian neighbourhoods, I wouldn't mind living here and working on Bay Street.

Diversity of uses are a good thing, the CBD will always remain as the primary use but there should be complementary secondary uses too!

It is not that weird of a place for a condo when you think about it either, as even though the street-level is all office-building-like, the condo has direct connection to the PATH and access to all the amenities that the PATH provides.
