This building has a small enough footprint that when you consider what else has to happen on the ground floor of the building—residential lobby, servicing—it's not much of a surprise that there's only one retailer. Across the street, however, Pace has four retail units IIRC, and Dundas Square Gardens' floor plate is large enough to host several as well, (or something larger like a City Independent Market maybe?), so there'll be good opportunity for convenience shopping for the huge (mostly student) population that's being added to the area by these condos.
